Well - it has been another eventful week here at the Williams house.
Malcolm is doing very well. It looks like he will be able to go off his medication very soon. This makes mom and dad very happy.
As you can see Malcolm is resting his eyes, after reading the paper and seeing the results of the Carolina Versus Dallas game. He said he felt at peace.
Dallas 35 - Carolina 14 (Paper of Choice- Wall Street Journal)
Who knew he could read already. Wow!!!
What a difference a week makes. Tony Romo looked great in his debut. No!!! we have not ordered a Romo Jersey yet, but we have added one to our wish list on the Dallascowboys.com store just in case. LOL
As for my trip to San Fran, and the trade show I attended - it was not a complete loss; I did get to talk to some great people, and who knows, there may be a deal out there somewhere. I would have rather been at the office making sales calls though; it would have been far more productive week for me if I was.
Of course - I'd MUCH rather be with my wife and son (who by the way is back up to his birth weight of 8 pounds 9 ounces thanks to his voracious feeding.)
As for 5.0 and life at Elastic Path Software Inc - things are looking pretty good for us right now. Harry is doing a good job maneuvering his way through the Sales Prevention team (Lawyers) at “company X” (Sorry I cannot mention their name yet) on a deal that will really strengthen are position in the ecommerce market.
We are also starting to see the effect of our investment in a PR Firm called Schwartz. Harry, Gord, Dave and Jason have been talking to a lot of analysts lately and it is starting to pay off, as a few articles have already been published about EP and our customers. I will try to keep you posted if anything really exciting comes out that you may be interested in reading in the coming weeks.
As for 5.0, it is finally here. At 8am on Monday morning – EP 5.0 will be distributed to over 50 customers’ world wide. Right now every PD developer at Elastic Path Software is working hard through the night to make sure this happens, and to make sure that every possible bug in the system is found and that every customer that receives Elastic Path 5.0 is more than satisfied.
I cannot tell you how great of a job of job our PD team has done. I am very proud of every one of them. I just don’t want them to know it, so please keep this it quiet, as I do not want them to think I have gone soft.
Over and out!
How about those Cowboys!!!
Mark
